Duravex, formerly known as Piedmont Metal Fabricators, is a precision metal fabrication and design company serving OEMs and industrial customers across North America. Operating from a 65,000 square foot facility on a 32-acre site in Louisa, Virginia, Duravex combines modern equipment, engineering expertise, and a quality-first culture to deliver high-performance systems, components, and turnkey solutions. Founded in 1969 in Gordonsville, VA, Duravex brings over 50 years of fabrication experience to customers across North America.

The company was acquired by RTK Family Capital, Young Capital Partners, and Jeff Coleman, who now serves as CEO. The acquisition was conservatively capitalized with equity provided by the three acquirers and supported by Atlantic Union Bank, positioning Duravex for stable and long-term growth.

Duravex is actively developing five strategic verticals aligned with today’s industrial needs:

• Engineered Plant Equipment – Duravex-designed machinery and systems built to meet customer-specific plant and processing needs.
• OEM Equipment – Custom machinery and components built to customer design specifications, typically for integration into larger systems sold by original equipment manufacturers.
• Data Infrastructure – Precision-fabricated assemblies for data centers and digital infrastructure deployments.
• Defense Systems – Engineered fabrication for mission-critical defense and security applications.
• Contract Manufacturing – Volume production of parts and assemblies fabricated to customer specs, serving as an outsourced manufacturing partner.
